Four-bedder at Parvis sold for $1.9 mil profit

The week of March 26 to April 2 saw some notable resale transactions in the property market. One particularly profitable sale was a four-bedroom unit at Parvis, which was sold for $4.85 million on April 1. The seller had purchased the unit in 2009 for $2.99 million and made a gain of $1.86 million after holding it for 14½ years. This is the second most profitable resale transaction at Parvis.

Parvis is a freehold condo located in prime District 10 and has 248 units. The development was completed in 2012 and offers a mix of two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and penthouse units. It is also located just a five-minute walk away from Holland Village MRT Station.

Coming in second for profitable resale transactions in the week was a three-bedroom unit at Cote D’Azur, which sold for $2.55 million on March 27. The seller had bought the unit in 2007 for $950,000 and made a profit of $1.6 million after holding it for almost 17 years. This is the third-highest gain made by a resale transaction at Cote D’Azur.

Situated in District 15, Cote D’Azur is a 99-year leasehold development with 612 units. It is located next to Parkway Parade shopping mall and offers units from one-bedroom to penthouses, with sizes ranging from 840 sq ft to 3,552 sq ft.

On the other hand, V On Shenton recorded the least profitable resale transaction of the week with a one-bedroom unit selling for $949,000 on March 26. The seller had bought the unit in 2009 for $1.03 million and incurred a loss of $85,000 after owning it for 11½ years.
