According to Knight Frank Singapore, who is the company leading the auction, the estimated value of this property is around $2.65 million ($2,002 psf). However, this is not the first time this unit has been put up for sale. The first time was in January with an asking price of $2.8 million ($2,115 psf). A second auction followed in March with a price of $2.65 million ($2,002 psf). Unfortunately, neither event attracted any buyers.
The loft apartment, which is situated on the eighth floor, has a unique open concept design. It features a spacious living and dining area with a balcony, a kitchen, one en-suite master bedroom, and two bedrooms. According to caveats lodged, this is the third time this unit has been up for sale. It was first sold in 2018 for $2.43 million ($1,832 psf).
Knight Frank Singapore’s director of auction and sales, Tricia Tan, describes the unit’s selling points, including unblocked views and plenty of natural light streaming through its floor-to-ceiling windows. She believes the property is perfect for both investors and homeowners, especially families with children who can appreciate the generous outdoor living spaces within the development.
Developed on a 99-year leasehold, The Crest was completed in 2017 and comprises 469 units spread across three 23-storey towers and four low-rise, five-storey blocks.
