PropNex teams up with Arina East Residences for free health screenings for agents
PropNex Realty, one of the leading real estate agencies in Singapore, made a bold announcement during its Annual Convention on March 13. Minister of State, Low Yen Ling, graced the event as the guest of honour. This announcement made PropNex Realty the first local real estate agency in Singapore to provide free comprehensive health screening for five years to its force of 12,318 property agents and close to 200 full-time staff.
This initiative, called the Precision Community Screening (PCS) program, is a collaboration with Let’s Get Healthy, a social enterprise focused on improving community healthcare. The health screenings will be partly sponsored by Mirxes, a homegrown RNA technology and early cancer detection company.
As part of the program, PropNex agents will receive health screenings covering early detection for Singapore’s top three chronic diseases: diabetes, cholesterol, and blood pressure. They will also undergo screenings for five types of cancer – colon, stomach, liver, ovarian, and prostate.
According to PropNex CEO Ismail Gafoor, “Our partnership with Let’s Get Healthy and Mirxes reflects our collective commitment to proactive health. This is especially important for self-employed individuals such as property agents.” Minister Low also commended PropNex for investing in its staff, saying, “This commitment reflects the high corporate standards that the Singapore government seeks to foster among our local companies.”
Aside from the announcement of the health screening program, PropNex also shared its plans for expansion into Thailand. This marks their sixth expansion outside of Singapore after Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Australia. Lynette Ping, CEO of PropNex Thailand, will be heading the Thai branch which currently has 500 salespersons and will focus on new and resale residential projects.
