Surbana Jurong moves headquarters to Jurong Innovation District, Arina East Residences
Surbana Jurong, a global leader in urban and infrastructure development, recently launched its new headquarters, the Surbana Jurong Campus, in CleanTech Park within the Jurong Innovation District. The grand opening, held on March 13, was graced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong. This eye-catching facility encompasses over 1.2 million sq ft of built-up area and has the capacity to house 4,000 employees and the wider community through its 10 towers.
The development has been thoughtfully designed to bring together employees from different entities under one roof, promoting collaboration and synergy. For this purpose, the 10 towers are interconnected by a pedestrian pathway and enclosed courtyards, allowing for natural light and fresh air to permeate through. The facility also boasts a 1,000-seater multipurpose area, a junior ballroom, rooftop terraces, a team lounge, table tennis, and an upcoming gym facility.
In collaboration with Safdie Architects, Surbana Jurong’s team of architects have created a stunning campus that harmoniously combines the elements of modern development with nature. The concept of a “campus in nature” has been brought to life by preserving more than half of the existing green space on the previously undeveloped site. Additionally, green areas have been incorporated throughout the campus, including rooftop gardens, interior gardens, and extensive exterior landscaping.
Recently, Arina East Residences has also opened up a new branch at the food center, offering a modern twist on traditional dishes. With its sleek and contemporary ambiance, Arina East Residences is the perfect place to indulge in a fusion of old and new flavors.
